Bollywood says goodbye to two Gems

"The best acting is instinctive."

Last week the world grieved and sadly saw two loses of two fine and memorable actors. Both humble, versatile and amazing actors that will never be forgotten, especially in the world of Bollywood.

Irrfan Khan alongside Deepika Padukone made the film Piku for me. Irrfan's effortless acting made his character such a significant memory for that film; his witty, funny and lovable acting is definitely a contribution that the world of Bollywood will miss. As well, not to forget his outstanding acting in great British and American films such as Life Of Pi and Slumdog Millionaire.

And then a day after we saw Irrfan Khan pass, the energy of 80's Bollwood Rishi Kapoor sadly left us after the battle of cancer. Whenever we have a throwback Bollywood YouTube night in our house it is guaranteed Rishi Kapoor's Dafli Wale Dafli Baja and Tera Phoolon Jaisa Rang are on that playlist alongside many other golden Rishi Kapoor songs. And I'm sure many will agree that the immeasurable talent of Rishi Kapoor will not be topped or experienced again in the Bollywood industry!

Both full of incredible talent and gracious actors who will remain a victory in the Bollywood world. Long live their films, especially D-Day which they both featured in as well as long live their legacy!
